NON-Skating Officials (NSO)
Non-Skating Officials are the backbone of the Officiating Crew. NSOs are mainly the statistics trackers during gameplay and support the referees. If you like taking data or making lists. You’d love NSO-ing! Here is a short video giving examples of different NSO positions. NSO-ing is also a great way to start your Ref training if your working on your skating skills!
Bout Day Volunteers
We can never have enough Day Of Game Volunteers! The majority of the time is just us, the skaters running the game, playing the game, and setup and breakdown. Our games are typically on Saturdays. We begin setup at noon, first game is at 5pm, 2nd game at 7pm, and we need to be out of the building by 10pm. You are not required to stay the entire day. Leading up to bout day we have a sign up sheet with a time window of when you are to work. You can work one shift and enjoy your free ticket to watch the game your not working!
